Options
Im sure I have seen this on a previous post a while back but had to let you know I went into Dolcis (this particular one was in Birkenhead, Wirral) and it was having a 75% + discount sale! Some AMAZING bargains!!! Beautiful diamante trimmed heels from £2!! yes £2!! brand new in boxes! This included wedding shoes for anyone on a wedding budget.
I got a pair of rocket dog shoes for £6.50 reduced from £30, a pair of satin diamante detail flats for £2 reduced from £20 and a pair of heels in black with chunky crystal detail and a silver heel for £3 reduced from £45!! ...got a bit carried away at this point and after buying a real leather handbag for £3!:j .......my friend had to drag me out the shop before I took up camp :p

Anyway moral of the story this sale seems live and kicking for now at least. :T

  • to any of the shoe bargain hunters, most of the shoes are on size racks however the walls have mixed sizes along the shelves and by the tills. This is where the mega bargains seemed to be. Happy shoe shopping! :o)

I think Dolcis went into administration a while ago so it may be a closing down sale. You may not be able to take anything back if it does close down.

Stylo has purchased Dolcis from the Administrators, not only has it saved 300 jobs in the retail sector......but you should be able to return things if they are faulty too....:T

There are 24 remaining stores 10 of which will remain, 14 of which are closing after the sale of the stock, which is the bargains to be had now.....but the company will still be there just less shops.

dolcis went into administration and the trading name and stock purchased by stylo (BARRATTS AND PRICELESS SHOES) on the 14/02/08
since that date they have been having closing down sales in 24 stores, this has now been reduced to around 8 stores due to the dolcis stock running out.STYLO however are now supplementing the remaining stores with stock from within the stylo group a lot of which is inferior product from the priceless chain. this is product with over inflated RRP as opposed to actual original selling prices. so be careful with what you are buying , if the sock label says dolcis or a brand you are aware of you should be fine to pick up bargains if however you see the branding CALZINO OR BELLISIMO this is priceless stock and made in either synthetic or very low grade leather. and also if you do have a faulty or new shoe to return and your local dolcis has closed you are legally able to return them to your local BARRATTS store.
