Can't get stain out of pillow cases

I've just washed a pair of white 100% cotton pillow cases and noticed some pink staining on them. The only thing it can be is from a red top that was in the laundry basket that might have been slightly damp and touched the pillow cases.
I've tried vanish oxy action and even wine stain remover to no avail. Can any of you ladies tell me what else I can do to remove the stains? Thanks!

Soak in a solution of bleach and cold water (assuming they are 100% white that is). Make up according to instructions on back of bottle and soak overnight, then wash as normal.0
