On DMP with CCCS need advice

Options
I am on a dmp with cccs and have today been informed that both my gas and electricity are to go up again in june. How much will cccs actually allow for this as our bills are quite high to start with? Thanks Jacqui

Are your bills quite high because you have an arrears situation? If so ring CCCS and explain that and what they have gone up to. Its important your DMP is manageable so speak with them and see what they say.

We are paying monthly by direct debit and have been lucky enough so far to not have any arrears but, as we have two disabled members in our family the heating is on so often and the prices just keep going up. Thanks Jacqui

Then that is what you tell them sounds perfectly reasonable to me!

If your gas and electric has gone up this needs to be changed in your budget as these are classed as a priority.

Call our client support department with your figures and they will make the changes for you. If you need the client support number let me know and I will PM you with it

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
