Say almond...where on the ticketmaster site did you find the info about going on sale Tuesday...I am a bit of a numpty and couldn't find it....LOL...thanks

Okay... so you don't like ticket resellers....and 'so called touts ahould be banned. Think on this...

1. They provide the same sevice as many ticket agencies do - and competion for them. So should they be bannded too... would shut down half of Leicester Square!
2. Only a very small percentage of tickets are sold by 'resellers' who provide a service for those who missed out when they went on sale - and who would still have missed out if resellers had not bought them.
3. If there was no demand for the tickets there would be no resellers.
4 I have had literally dozens of tickets from resellers at far less than face value ... so I am delighted by the facility they offer.
5. What bugs me is that I dont have a choice at paying the extortionate 'Booking Fee' charged by on top of the face value by Ticket Sellers... that is far more of a rip-off in my opinion.
6. Likewise many ticket agents sell tickets for the same Gig... all are identiacally priced... there is no competion... its effectively a cartel. U can buy the same toaster from a dozen different retaillers at a dozen different prices... why not gig tickets? By contrast resellers operate in a competative environment
7. And what about the ticket prices anyway i.e. Madonna charging over £100 for tickets last year.. what do you think real fans feel about that.
8. As for the Free Live8 ... I recal golden tickets for at the very front being sold to the corporate/business world for £300+ per ticket at a supposedly Free event . How many real fans even got a chance of getting into that section let alone having the money to buy them

So leave resellers alone, and work to get the real problems addressed i.e. allow competition on sale of tickets and scap booking fees.

Okay I maybe 'Livin on as Prayer' with this one, but thanks to tickets resellers at least were 'Were half way there' :-)

As for anyone refusing an offer of £500 for £20 tickets, I guess that was in the days before MoneySavingExpert. Would someone nominate me for 'Post of the Month' if i recommend anyone to take a similar offer in future?
