Loan because you have cheque gaurantee card anyone know about this ?

I remember a few months ago i was looking at loans for a mate,

And we came accross a site saying that you could have a loan if you had a cheque gaurantee card despite credit checks,

He wants to do it know but for the life of me i cant find the site

Anyone know

It was probably a payday loan site..

you have to give them guaranteed post dated cheques which they with-hold from cashing for between 1-3 months
you can probably only get a maximum of £500..and they charge a fair amount of commision (payable out of the loan) so aren't worth using unless as an extreme last resort.

payday loans (don't know the website - you'll have to google it), or there is a chain of shops called The Money Shop where you can go in and write them a cheque for say £130, they give you £100 back and only pay the cheque in a month later. No credit check although they do take your details (name address, employer etc). The interest is horrendous though!
