Good Morning Pap & all :D

Pay day for me :j BUT I've been taxed again!! The Tax office ( for reasons only known to them ) have taxed me as if my little job is a second job so for the 3rd month running I'm short. Never mind they assure me that I will get the overpayment back in next months wage:confused:

As for spending, I am seriously looking at booking a holiday, I've found one to Lake Garda, loads to do in that area, can even get a train to Venice ( somewhere I've always wanted to visit:rolleyes: ) just can't get hold of my Husband ( he's on a ship ) to check that he can do the dates - sooo frustrating. We haven't had a Holiday since 2005 besides 3 days in Weymouth last year ( sun hol ) but this was just after my Mum died & I was too ill to enjoy it really.
I know this isn't very MSE, but a whole lot cheaper than Florida, which is where I really want to go

Sorry this has turned into an essay, so if I can't get hold of Hubby will be under £1 for a birthday card, if I do it will be £1300:eek: still not bad for school hols for 1 week 2 adults 2 children half board
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Had a work lunch, but spent £1.20 on a 'Love Bar' from Pret for OH and I to share at a gig tonight (nice pocket sized snack!) - out tonight and have a budget of £40. x

Well booked my holiday, managed to get hold of my Hubby, I'm so excited:j :j :j :T :T :T went through quidco, also got my insurance through money supermarket as per Martins tip, it worked out cheaper, even taking quidco into account.
So have actually spent £1298.02p on hols & £36.90 on annual insurance = £1334.92 BUT should get £65 back from quidco:j & for the first time ever I've paid for a holiday upfront & haven't used a card:D

Hello all! I had two no spend days yesterday and the day before, purely so I could treat myself to Brides magazine today! I am soooooo looking forward to curling up on the sofa tonight looking through the magazine! And it's in my monthly "spending" money so I'm happy with it (even if it was £4.90!!)

Hope everyone's having a good day.
