No it´s definitely the U900 as there is a picture. I called in at my local Argos today and they said there not any available locally and they don´t expect any in within the next 2 days.0

Odd one this - cat no 518/2088 - as it's well over £200 everywhere else it looks like a !!!! up. However, Samsung Europe may have done a deal with Argos to reduce stock levels.
If anyones going to Argos anyway it might be worth checking stock - none in Plymouth . . . Otherwise, is there a friendly Argos employee in the know???0 -
guys,i saw this when the supplement came through our door with the free local papers about 3 weeks ago. I immediately checked online and it was out of stock and have friend who is an argos employee who said that yes it is a pricing error and as soon as they knew they withdrew it from sale ( up until a few days ago the catalogue number was bringing up the u900s description but saying v900 and no picture. He said it would go back on sale when they had re printed the leaflets.
I went into my local and got them to check their stock computer which is different to the stock checkers we get to use and they had none instock. I told him a story that I had phoned head office about availability and they had said to ask the store to physically check the stock room for me ( not true!) but the guy did and still said they didnt have any. I was hoping that he would come back with a u900 and scan it at 99.99 obviously.
But now the catalogue number has gone, my plan was to take the mispriced leaflet into store when they put it back on sale but now the catalogue number will have changed theres not much hope0 -

Even if there was stock in the store if it is not on the system or registers as 'out of stock' it means that (a) Not been released from delivery (b) All stock reserved or (c) It's just not in stock!
Had there been stock in the area where they are kept but registers as not available then we cannot sell them until H/O clears it.
When/If it comes back on sale at the correct price there will be 'till bulletins' in place for the cashiers and messages on quick pay machines stating the "correct price is £# not £* as shown in the May flyer" for any new cat numbers for the phone.
Hope this helps, keep on smiling and shopping at Argos

I went in my local store again yesterday and the girl checked the computer rather than just the till and she said that they were supposed to be on sale on 1st June but they did not have them yet. I thought that they will probably wait until this brochure runs out and then start selling them at an increased price.0

I went in store again today and was told that they had been let down by the manufacturer.0

more like let down by the joke that is called argos! Amazed that they have survived all these years! . I only venture in their stores for potential misprices and to spend giftcards which I frequently get from online survey companies, otherwise I would not touch with a ten foot bargepole!0
