15 year old needs some extra cash

Hi,
I'm 15 years old and need some extra cash for things i want to buy etc. etc. . I already have a job as a paper boy and for 6 days a week earn a measly £16 a week. For my needs this isn't enough.
I was wondering if there are any other ways to make more money. I want to ask the local morrisons if they will hire me as like a shelf-stacker over the summer holidays, but i don't know if i am legally allowed to that kind of work.
So is it worth going asking for a summer job at the supermarket. What other jobs can i do which will earn me some more money? I also have a debit card which i use online so, are there ways to make money online? I have an ebay account

If you've any interest in plants how about asking at a local garden centre or nursery for after school days and weekend work.

Selling programmes is a great idea - I used to do it, got £4/hour and worked 2 hours (this was when I was 15, 9 years ago) and the best bit was I got free entry to the ground!
Not a massive earner but I can't see why at 15 you need to be earning a lot more than a few quid a week anyway!0 -
Babysitting.
Weeding.
Lawn cutting.
Online the potential is greater. You can earn money online by building a website about your interests and/or even just doing surveys. I do both these and my earnings are very high for doing pretty much nothing... I think of something I'm interested in, I immerse myself in building it for about a week, then I walk away from it and it earns me money.
Another way to do this is by writing/blogging on the websites of others. There's one site where I just posted a simple piece of advice and it's earnt me £10 in the last year. Doesn't sound a lot, but imagine if I'd done that 3x per day for a year .. I'd now have 1000 earning me £10/year! Damn, wish I had now!0 -
Morrisons and Mcdo's wont hire you if you are under 16,
https://www.makeupyourownmind.co.uk is a good site for Mcdo's, it says in there that they do not hire under 16's.
However, are the rules the same for a franchise?0 -
McDonald’s starts recruiting at 16 years of age. McDonald’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal access to training an employment regardless of age, sex, or race. While the company’s 67,000 employees are mainly young people, restaurants are popular with all age groups due to the flexible working hours. In fact, McDonald’s employs people of all age groups in its restaurants.
From that site, so bit of time to wait!0 -
Hi Chris.
Do you have any interest in music?
Have you thought about slicethepie? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=685155
You could easily earn your wages again-and more- if your good enough and put in the time.
Good luck
Edit: you'd need a paypal account to withdraw funds into, but maybe a family memeber could set one up in there name for you.The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -

It probably depends on whether the company is a centralised franchise which it probably is...and the closest McDo is about 10 miles away (yeh i don't live in the city) so i can't really go there.
If morrisons won't hire below 16 i guess i will have to wait another year till i get my National Insurance Number.
I'm trying a site called pickydomains.com . It where you choosa domain name for businesses and if they like the one you suggested they paid you $25. I was mistaken to actually how many sites/domains , there are on the internet but i can always keep trying.
Thanks for the advice at least i know i can go to morrisons next year. :j
