How are you making the repayments during term time? Remember you have rent, food, going out, books... all to pay for as well. will you be working a lot during term time too?

It has been all worked out, never missed a payment on credit before. I will be working during term time yes.

    Thanks for the advice though

    Thanks for the concern!

Car insurance will be paid in full fully comp, that is sorted. I have a good amount in savings sat in an ISA for repairs etc.

I also get a student loan in september witch will be considrably more than last year due to reaasesment. Also my rent is cheaper this year by £30 a week.

    This was well thought out!

But I know where your coming from

Sounds like your sorted for the majority. So many people come on this board without thinking of the mentioned things etc.

    Hope your loan goes ok

    Accepted.
At a slightly higher rate but still a managable amount each month!! Only £7 more.

the guy really pushed the payment protection plan, had to tell him I didnt want it 6 or 7 times (think he was on commision!)

get the paperwork and money through next week, time to start car hunting!!

Thanks for the help london, much appreciated

PPI is a HUGELY profitable product for lenders, hence why the push it. Well done for sticking to your guns.

Make sure PPI is NOT on the paperwork when you get it through, you never know what an unscrupulous member of staff might do.

Students are not eligible for PPI!!! you have to be in a permanant contract and paying the correct national insurance contributions (so approx 16 hours per week)!!!!!

what did you say your income was then?
