i have just sent my template letter to the bank HSBC saying that i wish to reclaim my PPI how long does it normally take for me to hear back from them?

depends on what basis you arte claiming for, what the reason is ???
if no valid reaspn given u might get a reply really quickly. if valid, they might need to do some invesigating0 -
- your salesperson stated / implied that taking out the policy would assist my credit application.
- your salesperson was very pushy in selling me the policy so that I felt I could not say no.

I guess some time time as they would need to do an investigation and get a statement from the adviser - , check what paperwork was sent to you ect
but they should at least acknowledge receipt of your complaint, 5 days usually0 -
well it was 5 years ago when i took out the loan so how would they go about it if the advisor no longer works for HSBC?0
