Max Recovery / Eversheds

Options
Hi,

I was released from bankruptcy in febuary this year and last month when i checked out my credit report all the outstanding accounts were marked as settled.

So i was going to begin to rebuild credit.

But today i recieved an email saying my credit report had changed and when i checked there were three new entries from Max recovery - who i have never heard of all saying i had accounts that were in default.

I called up max recovery who refered me to Eversheds - eversheds have asked me to send them my clearence letter and a copy of my report so they can clear the entries.

But my confusion is how did this company get hold of this information after these debts had been included in bancruptcy?

Is it legal for them to do this?

Will these debts be able to be removed totally from my report or will they show as settled which seems odd as i will then have two entries for each debt - one with the original creditor and one with Max recovery.

Thanks for any help.

M.
