Try the o2 website....you can register on it and get plenty of free sms messages every day and you can also have a free email address with them.

It sends worldwide too. :beer: Only problem is they don't send to Malaysia. Anyone knows good free sms site sending to Msia? Tried http://www.sms.ac before but they suck. If you didn't set your profile correctly, you'll end up paying £1 for each sms received. :mad:

http://www.bulksms.co.uk which provides a superb service with texts as cheap at 4.3p each.

Also, they provide an HTTP to SMS and eMail to SMS service for free which makes bulk sending or sending from anywhere online a doddle. Great service and well recommended.

Bear in mind that for the likes of the walkers competition these don't work as very few online services will send to short-code numbers.
