Stock up on hand wipes from Kentucky Fried Chicken and use those instead. You'll save cash on loo-roll AND have a lemony smelling bum for a little while.

    It's a win-win situation!

LOL, next time i go to KFC ill ask for an extra one and keep it in my purse for those public toilet emergencies. :T

I dont think the cutting dishwasher tabs etc is embaressing, just cost effective :D

I am a bit gutted no one else has done anything really embaressing, come on, im waiting for something to make me feel better. :rotfl:

Edit, just before i send this i have realised that part of this is laziness which has never before been seen as a good thing, but by being lazy ive saved cash, lol

Not sure if this will make you feel better but it did me - kind of

Went into HSBC to pay credit card bill & the cashier said I had to pay £5.00 in order to pay the bill  being a fresh MS I was most indignant & argued that CapitalOne had their account with HSBC so why the hell should I pay to pay  . She explained that it was their policy so I stuck my nose in the air & said "I've never paid before & I'm not paying now, what an outrageous policy" & stalked out...after trippin over in front of at least 10 other customers :o .

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I have been known as a student to stuff a loo roll in my bag from the pub loo. Get loads of freebies with work now though so don't really buy loo roll, and OH gets snacky foods from work (he's never eaten his daily rations so feels validated in bringing a little extra home now).
Squashing slivers of soap together is my favourite, and I always remember my mum taking empty milk bottles back to the shop for the return money so that she had enough to buy a bit of cheese!!

When I do seminars at hotels, I grab all the little biscuit packets that I can that go un-eaten at the meeting.
I stash them in my office drawer or car for when I need a snack attack
