Should I phone Crapquest or wait

Options
They offered a full & Final at the begining of the month which both sides agreed to. I canceled their payment from my DMP and readjusted the other creditors amounts. We still havn't had the offer out in writing so won't be paying until it's recieved and written correctly.
It's just stressing me what they will do since they havn't been paid this month and I don't trust what they said previously over the phone.

As said many many times , NEVER TALK ON THE PHONE TO THESE PEOPLE . Agreements made on the phone are not worth the paper they are written on . Also the operators have no real powers to agree anything , it has always got to go through to management .And they have been known to change their minds . If they find you can get your hands on a lump sum , its not unheard of ,for them to start demanding increased payments . Have you ever requested a TRUE SIGNED COPY OF YOUR CCA and a notice of assignment ?

Well, if they are breaking any of the OFT guidelines, REPORT THEM!

    Hi Broken hearted,

I know that speaking to these people is not classed as being a good idea, but I've always enjoyed the verbal sparring. :wall: :wall: :wall: I would ring them and state unequivocally that you are only in a position to offer a Full & Final for another 5 days and then the deal's off, and you won't do anything until it's been confirmed in writing.

    Hi BH,

I have just made a final payment today to C(r)apquest and asked them to confirm in writing that the debt is settled. The lady on the phone said that company policy has changed and that all requests now have to be put in writing to them. So even though I don't owe them money anymore, I still have to write them a letter to ask for confirmation it's been settled!

I would write to them if I were you,a nd send the letter recorded delivery. I have the address of you need it.

    Sammy x
