Coffee maker - SenseoTassimo?

I'm looking to buy a coffee maker.
Probaly one that takes pods rather than beans.
I've seen a Philips Senseo and Braun Tassimo.
Any idea which makes better coffee?
Not too concerned about the cost of the machine but I am about the cost of the coffee.
I went round someone's who had one and used a supermarkets own brand coffee which was a lot cheaper and had a nice taste. Any idea what that could have been?
thanks for any suggestions.

I went for the Tassimo and have been using it daily for a year and a half. The pods are quite pricey but I love the fact it makes tea, hot chocolate and a wide range of coffees. If it's all about the cost of the coffee then the old style jug cafetiere and a bag of coffee kept in the freezer would do you better.0

Why limit yourself to several different types of coffee?
I use a cafetiere (and occasionally a stove top espresso maker), that way I can use whatever coffee I like and vary how much coffee I use to vary the strength......0 -
Senseo doesnt get coffe really hot,and one pod only makes a small cup (oH kindly ordered-_ it as a gift when cheap on hot deals-I don't have the room for it-a big macihne for sucha small cup-think i prefer my stovetop coffee maker.I find the pods expensive.0

Thanks.
I use a cafetiere at the moment but I like coffee quite strong (many years in Belgium) and I can't stop myself from making a full cafetiere of about 4 cups - then I start to shake on the third cup.
I know - get a smaller cafetiere but...
Tea I make in a pot with tea leaves and won't stop doing that - this'll be for non-tea things.0 -

Please feel free to cry for me-all you coffee lovers-I now have a medical condition that means I can't drink tea or coffee hardly ever..boo hoo.I am jealous
Think tesco do their own pods0 -
Thanks everyone.
Looks like it's a Tassimo.0 -
Well I have a Senseo which I use every day and I love it. The coffee pods were expensive and so I bought a reusable pod from eBay and fill it with my own choice of coffee - very MSE and I can make it to any strength I prefer.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
