Jesa, that looks right nice! It's just horrible coming back to the normal daily grind isn't it...
We had our bbq today, weather has been lovely. dare I say- i've gone and got sun burn on my neck and chest...! sorry, not rubbing it in guys, i know you've had cr4p weather :p
Bit of wind though... about 75 mph they said on news. We parked the cars under some trees and a MASSIVE silver birch tree blew over right above us! we all ran out of the way and grabbed kiddies away, but it landed right on top of my dads car ( ) it's a brand new pasaat, so hes not impressed! anyway, were just glad no one was hurt. it was really scary though, the car was just completely burried. the tree was about 20-25ft tall.

It was beautiful. I do wish I had taken a couple of days off work this coming week as it seems like I have been back 5 minutes and now I'm back to work in the morning.

The weather has been nice here today apart from the wind. I went down Sainsburys and heard someone whisper to his friend that I was wearing fake tan - flipping cheek, this is real (for once)!

Just reinstated my Play.com listings and sold two CDs this evening - one mine and one mum's - £10 & £12 respectively. Will add to pot tomorrow after posting

Sorry to hear about your dad's car - thank god it missed all of you though and dad wasn't sat it in
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

    Hello:hello: again,
Tonights E-bay finished with £28.95 profiit,so I've added it on.
Still got my odds and ends pot to empty at the end of the month.
Put a few items on e-bay this afternoon, just realised they won't finish until next month:o .
Is it worth bothering with e-bay ,Amazon etc. in July and August.Thinking a lot of people will be away or be exhausted having children at home all day.Been there, done that, but never got a T-Shirt.:rotfl:
If I have a couple of months off selling I might have a chance to understand turbo-lister. It doesn't like me!
    Good night all,Oldteabag x

Oh dear, not doing so well this month. Last month was a trial run and managed to hit target then. This month I've been trying in earnest, but am only up to £59.38 :o Still every penny counts as they say :D

Got my second ever mystery shop tomorrow and haven't counted my penny jar this month, so that will push it up a bit. Here's hoping I get loads of surveys pop through in the next week!

I'm new too but will aim for £5 a day from July and see if i can work my way up! Am rubbish at challenges but will try my best. Although the survey sites don't seem to be at all successful for me :(
    Debt to clear: feels endless...

    Weight loss to go: 42lb/13.5lb

Maybe someday i'll be skinny, organised and debt free..

    Hi All

I didn’t do any more posting on Amazon yesterday but what I did do was go up in the loft and fish out all the boxes of books that I knew were up there – there were far more than I thought. This means I have now loads that could be listed (or to go to charity if they won’t fetch anything).

I also had an email from Amazon over the weekend to say that my payment is on its way! I says 6-10 working days for it to reach my bank account, so with any luck it will in there in time for it to count towards this month’s challenge.

Oh, and I actually earned £1.50 from doing a survey last night – instead of being screened out which is what usually happens. I doubt I am going to get any reward vouchers to count towards this month’s challenge but at least I have given myself a head start for next month.

  • Hi All

Thank you all for your virtual hugs and sympathies, they were much needed and have really helped alot. Still coming to terms with it though as it all happened very quickly. We miss him loads.

Just called the cattery to cancel the booking I had with them in August and sold some food to her (I used to bulk buy and just brought his years supply)so that will be £30 to add to my total when I can get it to her. It doesn't seem right that I've made some money as a result of my cats death though.
Anyway, theres some fab totals out there! Everyone is doing so well.:T

    Have a good evening.
