Very cheap loo roll is OK - you may use a bit more of it to get the required results (!) but it breaks up quickly in the sewerage system. The expensive quilted stuff is like bonded fibre and takes for ever to break down!
I try not to use kitchen roll but my OH and sons are addicted to it. Every little spill and they grab it. I keep a cloth in a weak bleach solution, next to the sink, for wiping surfaces etc. Keep a separate cloth for floor cleaning, in the utility. They are cheap and wash up well in the normal wash in the machine."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
I buy a big roll of paper - like the blue stuff you find in supermarkets - it is in wilkinsons and is a big fat roll. Its about £2 but having a 4 year old i need it - lots of spills, mucky faces, hands etc so it comes in handy - also have a petrol head bpyfriend too so he uses it too. Lasts us ages

We use the kitchen paper for wiping up any little accident made by the cats - ie hair balls, etc! lol
