confused about credit search

hi all wonder if someone can help with this.
i am currently in the process of a remortgage and my broker called me yesturday to say i have a mortgage offer in principle from accord.
i recieved an email today to say there had been a change to my credit report and when i checked i have had a search done yesturday by yorkshire building society.
my question is are accord part of yorkshire building society???
i havent applied for any other credit so im hoping that they are connected.

A quick Google search for the words 'accord' and 'yorkshire' will tell you. Look at the first result Google returns.
