Nationwide - Charging Order - Courts

Options
Nationwide got the charging order . Their solictor turn up! the only good thing about it is, the judge ruled that the payment should be lower from the original payment of £140 to the DMP payment of £7.97. Hubby is hoping to sell his shares in a couple of years , for us to pay the charging order off.

So mixed news? Bad that they've got a charging order, very good that you've got the payments at the level you need?

I bet you feel better that bit's over? Good luck, I'm glad you've got a way out in the future. ;)
  • Hi Oliveoyl,

Thanks for your reply. We have been dreading this since November, and now it's out of the way 1/2 isn't bad is it. NR did'nt get the CO last week but Nationwide did this week. You can't have it all, if we could have come up with the £140 a month then ,there would'nt have been a charging order. But we don't have that sort of money for one creditor. At least it's all over with for now!
