Hi everyone- i've been to court yesterday regarding mortgage arrears:o . I had already come to an arrangement with my mortgage provider and they were asking for a possession order on a suspended basis. the judge was extremely kind and overruled them telling them that I only had to pay a fifth of what they were asking me to pay back every month towards the arrears. I will pay as much as I can afford though to get out of this situation asap, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnell!!!
However, one thing that concerned me at the end, their solicitor/representitive, quickly said, we are also asking for a monetary judgement to be entered for £35000 which I didn't quite understand and my head was spinning. The judge said not to worry as it was just something 'in the background' and my credit file wouldn't be good any way(like I didn't know)?
My question is , is this a ccj thats there till i pay of the mortgage or just the arrears? I konw that they are around for six years, just wasn't expecting this. Thanks for any advice xx

It could depend.
You should ask your solicitor advice on this and what it will affect.
Im pretty sure however youll find it will stay on your credit file until you pay the whole debt offDELETE ACCOUNT.

Thanks for the reply! I was afraid of this, just when i thought things were going to get better:rolleyes: . If this is the case its stuck there till i've paid my mortgage off, and that quite a while yet:eek: .Comping since 3rd November 2007.2 x £50 Faith Vouchers.Tray Wrigleys Extra FusionTray Wrigleys Extra Big One2 x Big songs for little people-double cds!Cadburys vintage vanOli *mystery prize*0
