Been to my fav shop [STRIKE]for free holidays[/STRIKE] for 'bits' and found this leaflet on a rack of different leaflets.

Clubcard Christmas Saver 2008

and it states ' Everbody like a little bit of help before Christmas. Thats why we have a Clubcard Christmas Saver Scheme.'

basically (if I have read it right) is if you tell tesco you only want your clubcard vouchers once a year and you reach over £100 on vouchers you get a bonus £5!

Hi Pandas66 - this is in its second year now and is a very easy way to save. I put £5 per week when paying for my weekly shop and already have £110 saved for Christmas. Although handy for groceries its great for buying dvds, video games etc. The only thing you need to watch is that they deliver your Christmas Saver vouchers in the same mailing as the Clubcard vouchers and they are very similar so you need to separate them as of course you need the latter for Clubcard Deals whereas you can only spend the Chistmas ones in store.

Panda - does this mean that instead of getting your Clubcard vouchers every 4 months you get them in one go and a bonus of £5 ???

If that is right, it sounds like a winner to me.

Where can I redeem my Top-up and Bonus Vouchers?When you top-up your Saver balance at the till it will appear in your November Statement as Top-up Vouchers. Top-up and Bonus Vouchers can be redeemed in-store or online*. They cannot be redeemed on Clubcard Deals.

I've been off and had a good read

So if your saving your clubcard deals for something specific.....a holiday perhaps........then you get them sent out at Nov only but if the total adds up to more than £100 you get a £5 voucher to spend in store only. You can also have a 'top up' to the value of £100 (say if you were close to the mark) and get the instore voucher.
Yes its not applicable to get points (top up) or the £5 voucher, but on read through I think if you were to be doing a massive save and be £2/3 or even more off then you can get a top up at the cashier to spend in store and then recieve £5 'free' to spend in store.

Its all gobbly gook to me at this time of night but yes I think it means you don't get your normal vouchers through the year as they keep them until November for you but any money you put in by "top up" and your final "bonus" can't be converted into deals and must be spent on goods instore.

But the "normal" vouchers you would gain throughout the year and are sent in November can be converted into a holiday deal
