Wake up, dear Diary! Wake up!!
Today is a very special day!!!
It is the Hutchford’s Book Signing and Bathsheba Bash.
(When you are a character in a best-selling book, book signings are like birthdays. Actually they are better than birthdays because Mummy usually forgets my birthday as it normally clashes with the Frankfurt Book Fair
I am so excited!!!!!!!
There are going to be millions of fans there to see ME ME ME !!!!!!!!!!!!
We are going in a white limousine. .
I am going to wear my ecru tutu, bright blue shoes, and my hot pink mink. (Obviously a fake! Cruel is NOT cool!!!!)
Oooooo it is going to be so magnificacious!
There is going to be a DJ and a cake. (Lots of cake.)
And it is all to celebrate the launch of the Bathsheba Diary!!!!!!!!
As you can tell, Bathsheba is very excited because she will be going to a fantastic book signing event. Knowing that things don't usually turn out the way she thinks they will, pretend you are Bathsheba and write the next entry for her diary.

The closing date for this competition is 29th June 2008. Remember to tell us your name, age and address if you want to be sent a prize. The competition is open to children aged 9 to 18. (Please note that we are only able to send prizes to entrants living in the UK).
