Post Office Loan or Northern Rock

Hi

These two companies seem to offer the best loan rates on the market at the moment at a typical 5.8% and 5.6% respectively over £7.5k. (apart from moneybank loan at 5.5% which I would not bother with based on users opinions)

Both the Post Office and Northern rock seem to offer no redemption penalty for paying the loan of early e.g. if you sell your car before the loan term.

However from previous posts on this forum it seems that the Post Office would be the best option given the bad press Northern Rock have had lately by pushing their PPI and their money transfer fee of £45 etc..

I would welcome fellow members opinions on which company they would borrow from ?

Thankyou
