My OH is entering the london to brighton cycle ride in a few weeks. i have promised to make him a supply of munchies to keep him going.
does anyone have any ideas for things similar to bought energy bars that I can make that will give him a boost. they will need to be easy to pack up and take being a little squashed. I've got recipes for flapjacks, malt loaf etc, but wondered if anyone had any recipes for something that is specifically for this kind of purpose.
he also wants to take some isotonic drink . Any ideas on what that means to an OSer ??
thanks
