Any used (or can recomemd) any of the online printers ?

I need to get some business cards printed up for a mate.

I've been down to the local Prontaprint and they want £50 + vat for 250 !! which seems a bit high considering the online guys want anything from £7.95 and up for the same amount.
I know the print quality isn't going to be the same (I assume ?), but he only wants 2 lines, his name and email address.

Anyone used a website for printing or offer any recommendations ?

Thanks

have you tried your local shopping centre, mine has one where you can make your own business cards, i think its about £3 for 100, and if they are only simple that you are after then that should be fine
  • Have a look at www.vistaprint.co.uk
I've used these myself for Business cards and not only are they cheap (under £10) they are great quality and have plenty of designs to choose from!

I have had some vistaprint cards made up. They are very good. You can have a batch of cards made up almost for free. You pay for postage, removing the vista logo from the back , custom artwork etc.. there is a long extras list.
Some people have been caught out, unintentionally signing up for a `subscription`. This did not happen to me, just be careful to read all the notes before you hit go.
