Trouble with the GF grills is there are so many models that it is almost impossible to compare. I have one similar to the woolworths one (which cost about £21 from our local co-op) designated as a 'family' model. It's great for chicken breasts, salmon fillets, steak etc but doesn't have the bun warmer on the top like the Tesco one does.
The Woolworths one seems a good price if you're not particularly bothered about the bun warmer (I give mine 30 secs in the microwave if I want them warmed)
I suppose if you wanted to go the whole hog and have a bigger one with removable plates then this would be the one to go for

Odd - as Woolworths say it is one of theirs. Either way, if it was that one - they have never 'previously been £49.99'!
Would you recommend that one mate? My maximum cook would be 2 chicken breasts, or a steak?
Thank you.0 -

I think your right,probably never been £49.99 but at £19.99 I would say it's a good buy.
I don't think they would be able to list it as a GF health grill if it wasn't.They do list it as a GF and not a George Foreman. I think they would have a lot of returns if they sent out their own brand after misleading people into thinking it was a George Foreman.I think mine would of gone back if it wasn't a Foreman, but saying that they probably all do the same thing.
The one at Somerfield looks a very good buy.sometimes you're the pigeon, sometimes you're the statue!0 -
Argos have got this one with timer and heat control at half price.

If you only want to do 2 chicken breasts / one steak then the smallest (Baby George) is perfectly adequate, this costs usually around £15 anywhere and can be replaced cheaply when non stick coating wears off. I use mine daily (for bacon sarnis, takes 4 streaky or 3 back rashers and a tomato) and wear it out within a year. I am on my third now.
The other advantage of the smaller one is it takes up less worktop or storage space.
Its also great for roasting sliced peppers (red, orange, yellow etc).0
