Free Business Cards & Custom Pens: Amazon.co.uk offer

I received some books I ordered from Amazon.co.uk and inside the box a coupon with the following offer was included:

"Special Offer for Amazon.co.uk Customers in 2008!"

500 Business cards and a business card holder for Free.
https://www.VistaPrint.co.uk/500BCFREE

Apparently, you pay only for postage & processing.

and

90% OFF Custom Pens (with your logo or photo on)
https://www.VistaPrint.co.uk/AmazonWrite

Again, it seems you pay only for p&p.

I don't need any of the above right now, but maybe I will try the offer in the future. If anybody tries this, pls. give feedback.

  • Please all be very carefull of this company!!!

I had some business cards from this company in the past, as it sounded like a great deal "only pay for the postage" they stated. And that is all you pay for to start with, but as you pay for the postage with your credit card, a month later you notice "VP REWARDS" on your card statement, and money being debited from your card each month. this went on for a couple of months.
I kept phoning Vista Print, and they made up some old "tottle" that i had signed up for some reward scheme (which i certainly did not!) they kept saying they would refund the money (that they had basicly stolen) back to my card (which they didn't) so in the end i had to report my credit card lost to the bank, so i could get a new one in which VistaPrint didn't know the details of. In my view this company is a bunch of fraudsters!

Check out the "VP REWARDS" scam forums on the internet

As they say " if it seems to good to be true, it usually is!!! "

    Regards

    Carl

Vista are also found on some of the cashback sites too, offering their 'free  ' samples.
Yes the items are free, but the postage & packing isn't, nor is anything other than basic text artwork, if memory serves me right.
Plus once you are on their mailing list, you get an offer a week .

A few months ago, before I read the beware post, I found another offer from this company and I ordered some free letter headings BUT I chose to pay with the Paypal option (I always go for it whenever available) and I never had any problems with my card.
