Can anyone help me find any site for children turning Vege?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place?

I have seen several items on here about info packs etc for children who are or want to become vege.

any sites forkids and adults would be really helpful.

    Hi i have come across quite a few but need to check site addy's,Also there is one that sends out alot of info booklets stickers,recipes etc need to find it again!!

    I do like the peta kids site (*not*) - give them lots of comic books about the suffering and torture of animals and then allow them to make a "free choice" to turn vegitarian.

    Personally I think Peta are OTT and unsuitable for impressionable children unless you also provide alternative information to allow them to make an informed decision.

    Hi,

    Here's a link to the Uk Vegetarian society family page, with links to info for children of all ages on nutrition etc. Goes through the full age range from pre-school to teenagers.

    Also has a recipe section on the site.

  • I have to agree with RufusA here and advise that you avoid the PETA sites like the plague! They are just an organised political animal activist group, but I won't go on as this isn't the right place and I could be here all day ranting about them, and people like them :mad: ;)
