It's a step in the right direction - hopefully the next step is 100% refund and replace policy, same as Tesco...Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -

That's exactly how it reads to me.
But not for overcharging but for satisfaction with the produce.0 -
I bought a 'fresh' chicken from Asda last week and it was 'off' the next day, even though it was still well within it's use by date. Took it straight back where I was offered an exchange which I politely refused. They ended up giving me a refund (refunded too much actually!) and as a goodwill gesture they gave me a piece of lamb that was over twice the price of the chicken. I'm now wondering if the manager knew of this policy at the time but was trying to get out of it by just exchanging the product! And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head

I had a chicken meal from the ASda Curry Pot a few weeks ago and when I went to eat it there was hardly any chicken in it so I called the store and they 'wrote it in the book' and said to come to the CS desk the next time i was in the store.
When I went to the desk (with not packaging or product) they looked up 'the book' and offered a replacement. When I said that I was going into town and did not want to carry it with me they gave me twice the price of the meal back - about £15.Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0
