Callcredit scam?

A month ago I looked into joining callcredit. It was advertised as three months free trial, upon completing all the forms etc it stated that the first three months would be charged to my card instantly. At the time I really needed to check out my credit (victim of fraud) so I continued £12 was then debited fron my account. I cancelled the account a week later believing that I would still be allowed access until the 3 months were up (experian do this).
Today I go to access the account to be told I don't have one anymore.
After firing off a strongly worded email requesting to reinstate the account or give me a refund for at least the 2 months that I will not get to use. I receive a email back stating that the £12 is an administrative fee nothing to do with me using the account and non refundable and they will be quite happy to reinstate the account for another £12 fee!!! I'm just ranting I know but if this makes people think twice about using their online credit report its worth it. I'll be sticking with the £2 statutory fee next time I need to check mine anywhere!
