The biriyani is very easy to make & tastes lovely. Not tried any of the others yet but I'm definitely going to.....

This is something i got from my daughter and i cook it when i dont feel like being in the kitchen for hours. I use a rice cooker which i got from an auction for a pound!
Ingredients
3 cups of rice,
3 small fresh chilli`s
3 teaspoons of cumin,
teaspoon of salt
1 kilo of chopped chicken thigh
1 large onion,
small few drizzles of olive oil
Method
Wash the rice and soak in a bowl of cold water. switch rice cooker onto `warm`
Put a medium size saucepan on a low gas and add olive oil, meanwhile chop one onion and add after 1 minute. chop the chilli`s and add to the onion and oil. Add salt, brown ingredients and then add the chopped chicken thigh.cook for a few minutes and then add 3 teaspoons of cumin.Continue to cook until you are sure the chicken has been cooked all the way through then turn the gas off. Drain the water from the rice and put into the rice cooker. Add the saucepan of cooked chicken thigh, making sure all ingredients from the saucepan have been scooped out. Add enough water to cover the rice and chicken by about half an inch and stir so all ingredients are combined for flavour.switch onto `cook` and leave rice cooker to cook .Ready when Rice cooker says warm.
I usually chop some cucumber, tomatoes and onion into small pieces and add natural yoghurt to go with this chicken and rice.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -
