Old dog won't eat, scared what the vet will say

Regrettably I am updating this post, just to let you all know what happened. After quite a bit of too - and - fro'ing to the vets and back, Max sadly passed away yesterday at home. He went down hill quite fast, and we believe he had cancer. He will be greatly missed.

A place with fluffy pillows,
And a yard for hiding bones,
With maybe a little babbling creek,
That rushes over stones.

For one oh so special dog
Who came to you today.
He was full of strength and love,

The puppy look he once had,
This morning left his eyes.

But now, he'll romp and play

So sorry to hear about Max. My sister's dog Oxo died last night with very similiar symptoms..... not eating etc He was a 12 year old Yorkie and we will all miss him.

so sorry to hear that. He was a lucky dog though, he had an owner who loved him, and died in a place that was safe and familiar.
