The end of the pendrive retracts into the black plastic so these thumbdrives dont need a lid, if you look closely on the white plastic section there is a button which you slide

Nice price for that drive, though I'm not keen on the retractable ones. I just got this one from Play.com for £16.99 (8gb) Rubberised casing and comes with a keychain that has a gizmo on to attach the cap to when in use.
