I Wanna New Tv, Please Help Me Find Best Deal!!!

HI All

Firstly if this thread is posted in the wrong place then could someone please move it to the right place.

Ok, I am looking at a new TV and have narrowed my choice down to 2 different tv's. I am looking at either the Sony KDL-26T3000U or the Samsung LE26R87BDX. Could anyone out there who knows their onions when it comes to TV's please give me their opinion as to which of these is the better TV? Good sound is important to me and I will be using it for Wii/Xbox360 as well as normal tv/dvd watching etc...

I will also be trying to find the best deal I can get for one of these sets so any discounts or info on good deals would be very much appreciated, maybe the right price will help me make my decision.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I know someone who has the Samsung LE26R87BDX and it is a great tv, great interface and when its hooked up to a surround sound it can give out some punch. I haven't used or seen the sony in action tho so can't comment on it. But I have bought sony in the past and have found they have lived up to their expectations. its a tough choice because they both seem like fine machines!

.....the samsung has an extra hdmi slot, so that could be vital when hooking up the hd machines!

Ok thanks very much for that, I was hoping someone would say one was rubbish and one was awesome haha, nothing is that easy though i guess.

So anyone seen any good deals on either of these kicking around?

    Cheers guys

    Both £400 from Amazon.

Not much to choose between them.

An extra £22 would get you a SonyKDL32S3000 from Dixons (google for codes) which is arguably better value if your budget would stretch and it's not too big
