Hi i have recieved my credit report from Experian and I have a default from a mobile phone company. I never knew anything about this, it was two years ago. I was late paying some bills, my balance is now settlet and I dont have the phone anymore, I closed my account two years ago. I have read on some posts you can argue the defaut if you never knew anything about it, and as a gesture of good will some companies remove it.
Is there a template anywhere that I can use?
Thanks

Hi Kirsty.
I would have thought writing to Experian or the phone company explaining the situation would be enough. However, I'm bumping you up in case anyone does know of any templates you could use.

Just thought......if it is a default, it will stay on your credit report for 6 years from the date you defaulted. However, it should show that the debt is satisfied though.:rotfl:I'm Cosmo, Cosmo Kramer! :rotfl:0
