Lovefilm Taking Double Payments

Watch out for Lovefilm charging your card twice for it's DVD by post service. I checked my acount today to see they had taken £31.98 out of my account when it shoud have been £14.99. I called them about this and they said they had made an error. When I asked if they were going to contact me about this.. they said "they hoped to". I have requested the refund and they gave me a month free for the inconvenience. I suggest everyone checks their account to see if this happens to them!

I have been slack with sending DVDs back and bothering to cancel my subscription but Lovefilm seem to have another trick up their sleeve.
My account has been put on hold due to a problem charging my card, yet they have been taking their money each month. There doesn't seem to be any problems from my end.
I have asked how long my account has been locked for and pointed out that I have been paying each month as usual, hopefully they will be honest with me and refund any money that I have paid during my account being on hold.0 -

They've taken £29.98 from mineI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

Newbie here, I am having a similar problem. Began on 21 day free trial but after 16 days they deducted money from my account and refuse to return it. Do I have a leg to stand on!
