HHave just looked at terms and conditions and unfortunately you have to become a member and buy 5 more books what a scam!! So I wouldn't bother sorry to have been a pain I am new, but at least I know now to read the terms and conditions before a start a new thread!!

I believe this is the same as 'World Books' where you sign up but then have to buy 4 full price books in your first year of membership.

I much prefer the Book People as there is no membership and the books are really cheap!

as this is a book club and you have to commit to further purchases when you take up this offer, I am moving this to Shop but don't drop as it isn't really a Quick! Grabbit offer

For free (or reserved for a small charge of around 70p) you can read ANY book you want. In "You are what you eat", there are probably only a few recipes that any one person would actually try, so why not copy them out of a library book? I've got this out of my local library at the moment. The principals are great, but the ingredients are weird to say the least.

Kent libraries only charge 25p to reserve a book from anywhere in Kent and have it sent to your library, brilliant or what! I am totally convereted to the library now and pop in every couple of weeks.
