Hi
I am new to this site...i just wondered if anyone can suggest anything, my boyfriend and I have just (Feb 08) entered into locked IVA's. Our fixed mortgage rate is up in September, I have been given a new quote from our mortgage company expecting an extra £165 per month from us for the mortgage payments, we went back to our IVA people to see if they can do anything-renegotiate the IVA, but they said they cant really start anything until Aug time, which means if the creditors say no to the renegotiations we will be in the same position that we have been in since Christmas-at risk of losing our house, I just wondered if anything could be done sooner-I know I sound impatient but we had many sleepless nights over all this and it's just all got sorted out and now we are in limbo again! any help???

Did you take advice before getting the IVA (apart from whoever was setting it up for you)?
I have no experience with IVA's but hopefully some here will be able to advise.
Can you post up a statement of affairs (SOA) so we can see what your income and expenditure is. Hopefully we'll be able to see some areas to make savings on until you can get everything sorted.
I'd also post on the bankrupcy board as alot of people there have IVA experience.
For info: http://www.insolvencyhelpline.co.uk/individual_voluntary_arrangements/failed-iva-payments.phpAfter falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
