Loans Equifax./Tesco

I am going to apply for a loan , and find that my Equifax file is much better than Experian . I have no adverse info , I just want to consolidate my exsiting debts etc. Anyone know who just uses Equifax?

Tesco only use Equifax for their loans ..

Just wondering also - when you apply for a loan would it go against you when you state its for debt consiladation? I think I read somewhere , companies are wary if you say this is what the loan is for.

Well I applied for a loan - but never gave a descion at the end . Just thanked me for my application . Anyone else had this or a instant reply?
Just wondering really if I have been succesful.

Yeah, same here .. They call you to discuss and process the application and then give you a provisional decision (I got a call within a hour .. but I may have just been lucky ... )

I applied last night at around 10pm . Not had a call as yet - also they dont seem to have credit checked me yet . Lets see what happens!

No, they will credit check you when they call to process the application. I would imagine they would call this morning ...

I applied today also , have'nt had a phone call or anything! Must have been declined as I have had about five texts and calls from UCC loans , which is mad as I would not touch these. Can't understand being declined as my Equifax is also decent.

Have they credit checked you yet? ... They usually do it over the phone when they call ...

:mad: Hi Tori , they have credit checked me .... but not heard anything from them , so must have been declined. As I said just 'UCC' trying to contact me this afternoon - so put 2 and 2 together.
