Tesco car insurance code wanted

Anyone got a Tesco car insurance code.

Sorry haven't got a code but I see that they are offering 1,000 clubcard points worth £40 in deals if you get a quote and then buy your car insurance with them. I took advantage of this offer as Tesco was the cheapest anyway and was told that my points would be credited once payment has been received and within the next 6 weeks. The above offer is shown on their car insurance page on the main Tesco website. Hope this helps !

Do you still get these points if you buy the policy then cancel it within the 14 days cooling-off period? i.e. buy the policy then cancel it straight away and £40 worth of holiday vouchers?

Hi Biglugs - don't think so. Payment has to be taken and then the points are awarded within 6 weeks. If you paid, then cancelled you may not receive them. For me Tesco were the cheapest quote anyway and by paying by my Tesco credit card, I have clocked up extra points too.

Thanks, I didn't notice the 1000 points when I got a quote and didn't enter my account no when asked. I am going to get another quote and enter my acount no this time.

There are leaflets around the stores showing this offer, I found the offer on insurance by logging into my tesco account online and then stumbled onto the insurance quote offer by accident.
