I have been following advice on here for over 1 year now, not posting often but always reading. I have been very grateful for all the tips on here.
At our LBM our credit card debts were and £22 k:eek: . After a lot of hard work I reduced them to £7,500. I was really proud of myself. This has taken about 1 year.

But this month they are back up to £14 k. A few things happened that I had not money for. A broken shower valve that ended up in a new shower, cubicle and tiles, 2 new tyres and an exhaust on my car. But we are self employed and we are owed £5, 500 by one client. Because of this amount owed I had to use my card to pay bills with.

I know that when this money comes through I will pay it off my card bringing it back down to £8500. This is making me feel very upset.

I feel very worried and wont go out near the shops because that is my downfall. I shop when I am worried/ upset.

I really need to get motivated again but dont know how.

    Aw hugs Paige :grouphug:

I don't know the answer (I never do :o ) but being here will help, and someone like Hypno or I_A will come along and say the perfect words.
And you'll feel stirred enough to get back up and into the fray - I can almost guarantee it ;)

Don't be so hard on yourself. If you drew a graph, the overall trend is down, and you have already knocked it down by 14k. You have managed to contain someone else's debt of £5500 well within your original borrowings. Get your due payment in and you will not take long to come into balance and start accumulating savings.
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?
