getting paid to click on adverts

on this article http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-websites#make it says that it's possible to make money from clicking on web adverts. I've registered with each of the companies listed but can't find anywhere on their sites details on how to do this. Is this something that they have since removed or is it still possible to get paid to click? If so where can I get started?
