How often do free delivery for online supermarket shopping become available?

Hi all,

With out sounding too greedy, i was wondering how often the free delivery for online shoping become available?

I['m trying really hard to stick to a budget but because of other commitments it isnt easy for me to go shopping every week and im finding the monthly shopping budgeting and planning a bit tricky.

it would be great if i could do an online shop weekly or even fortnightly just wondered if any one knew if it was likley to get free delivery this frequently?

this sounds so cheeky - oops!
One day, I AM going to be out of debt. I'm just not sure when.
MSE to do's: new mobile contract, get contents insurance, get a better paid job!

I order from Tesco every two weeks and always find a discount code to enter of a value high enough to cover the cost of delivery (and usually a little more!). You can find the latest codes in the Tesco codes thread in this section (Discount Codes and Vouchers).
  • Oh thats great, should be ok then!

In the past iv planned a months dinners but at the end of the month i always find myself topping up with lots of stuff that i dont need lol

hopefully trying every two weeks should be ok!

Do you usually have to spend over £50 for example? theres only two of us.
I shall have a little hunt around.

    many thanks

Asda is minimum £50.00 spend for free delivery.sometimes have had codes for this through the door with the free paper delivery, there is also an Asda codes thread on here. You can usually only use each code once and often not in conjunction with any other offer.

I've been shopping online for over four years now and have never paid for delivery. You need to know a few tricks, though, such as opening two or more accounts. My regular Tesco account suddenly started not accepting any code I entered, so I opened one with another email address. I shop mostly from Asda now as it's cheaper.

We shop once a week and always spend over £70, though. Maybe you could shop once a fortnight in order to spend over £50?
