Anyone know is this one of the best sat nav to buy / places to go to buy / avoid and better still any other / better reasonably priced ones around or under £150?

Do you have a GPS mobile? or a GPS coupler thingy?.

If so, try Nav4all, it's free sat nav for a mobile phone, it's a good starter, I wasn't sure if I wanted sat nav and I downloaded this, it's good but basic but does the job for me.

There is only one Sat Nav to go for IMHO TomTom and loads of good deals on them at present. By far the market leader and so easy to use.

I would avoid Sony, as they have pulled out of the market, so try Garmin, TomTom, Navman or GoPal instead.

have now changed my mind on tomtoms lol

used mine 3 times and now it doesnt do voice commands, struggle to switch it on and now it cant pick up any satelites and i only had it 3.5 wks

Hubby has the tom tom one, he wants a voice one. Hes going to give me his tom tom one when he gets a tom tom go voice one.

What model have you got?

I would take it back to the store;)

I have the TT720 which does voice commands and is nice and slim the main reason I got it. Plus with the X30 Range out now there are good deals to be had.

think i have wrote it wrong lol it did do voice commands then it stopped working along with other faults
