Hi Have joined this forum to kick start my new life.
I'm hoping to do a grocery challenge and spend £160 for the month. Will update each week with my progress. I'm new to all this and just learning how to do everything on here. Please feel free to post on my diary. I would love to get support to help me on my way.
At the moment there's just myself and my DD.

Hi lorna, and welcome to the forums. You will have a great time here. And you will get loads of good advice from all the fantastic peeps here. We are a little crazy here sometimes. We try and get a balance between saving, cutting down, doing the challeges to having a right good laugh, You will make loads of virtual friends. And one day you may even get to meet them in the flesh. I have met a few people now. You could not have come to a better place for support hun. Good luck with your challenge

I'm bamboozled with all of this at the moment so there might be times when I miss peoples posts but I've got to learn!

You may not get many replies tonight. The challenge people will all be on tomorrow. But if you want a laugh then pop over to the night owl thread. We have a scream in there at night. If you read the first post in the thread you will see why it was set up. Easier for you to read than me explaining. Then pop a post on there and i will look out for you and give you a welcome x x

Seriously, people are just so supportive whatever kind of day you're having & I reckon we all have good days when we feel we're making progress & not so good ones too & it's just great to know that people on here are going through similar times.
There is just so much going on here & so much info on so many different topics I learn something new every day
Good luck in your quest & on here you'll definitely have fun along the way

You might find it useful to keep a spending diary and write down everything you spend for a month - you will find ways to cut back then.

Hi Lorna. I am the opposite to a night owl, I'm a dawn lark (drives some of my friends mad!). However one thing I can say about this place, it is the most wonerful friendly club you can join and in the great tradition of MSE its FREE!!!!
Don't worry about not finding your way around, if you get stuck just put up a post and the incredible peeps on here will sort you out.

Hello from me and good luck with your challenge! It is brilliant on here. Everyone is reallly helpful...and will provide a kick up the bum when needed!
