What to buy? A TV?

Hey folks,
Am being given £200 to spend on something impractical. At the moment, I've got a 20-something inch CRT. Do I want a games console (not entirely convinced there're many good games around at the moment, and as I understand it the PS3 and the Xbox 360 should really have HDTVs anyway...)? Or do I want to take that 200, and add another couple of hundred of savings to get an HDTV, and then buy a games console on the next occasion? Have been looking at the Sony KDL-32S3000 - it would be in a bedroom, would 32" be enough? Would 720p/1080i be enough for a PS3 (PS3 seems inevitable) or BluRay movies?
Failing that, what else could I get?
One thing putting me off a TV is that I might move house some time soon for work, lugging a TV around (I don't drive, so really would depend on friends) doesn't seem great, but I guess that wouldn't really be an issue. Also, I know prices are always dropping, but is there any new tech that's going to completely change HDTV? I see 24p taking off, and keep hearing about OLED, but is it worth holding off for a while? Also, a TV by itself when you already have one probably isn't much fun...
Cheers for any advice.

This thread turned out to be mostly about the KDL-32S3000
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=898591
but they're £400 at best0 -
a 32 inch tv would be impractical for all but the biggest bedrooms, richer sounds to great bargains but they need to be close or buy onlinethings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then
