Thanks - too true!! We're supposed to be getting a bit of money from mum's estate when its settled and thinking of buying a caravan down there so we'd have loads of holidays a year instead of one every two years. But I don't know much about sites and groundfees etc. Need to look into it closely. Our minibus will need replacing next year so got to consider that too.

    Are you off anywhere?

We are seeing if we can realistically afford to go away this year - what with all the bills etc going up  Although am so glad i did a meter reading and got them to re do my gas bill as they had estimated and just got new one and it's gone down by £95!!

£95 quid - shocking!! I know they overestimate but thats ridiculous!! Mate of mine paid hers by s.o. each month and always paid too much (it came out of hubby's a/c!) so at the end of the year she was in so much credit she could pay for a holiday at Xmas!

I suppose that it is the other option but i couldn't believe it when i saw how much it had gone down - just goes to show how much money they are getting from people who pay s.o etc!!

Imagine the interest etc on all that extra money??

I take it that's why they call it "big" business:rotfl: . Eldest DS (17) has just started this week at Royal Bank of Scotland and he says profits etc that big companies make are staggering - you know what the initial week is like in a new job, trainers etc are full of propaganda!
