we went to tesco today and managed to spend £56 and thats for a family of five, will need a few bits in the week, more bread, milk etc, its dead boring though adding up as you go along:rolleyes:Did spend a fiver on a large piece of cheese though, and bought cottage cheese, and dairylea soft cheese, so about 7.50 on cheese:eek: but it goes quick in this house, in the middle of the night sometime:rolleyes: extravagant buy was little ds winging for mickey mouse ham(not really ham on the ingrediants turkey, carrot fibre, pea powder
, chilli and loads of other stuff) 99p for 5 slices:rolleyes:

I did spend £12 on a nice piece of ribeye of beef but I make it go so far, cut a nice steak off for OH, cooked mine in the oven with gravy yorshire pudding and roast patotes. What was left we sliced and made sandwiches with today for lunch. I have to say it was the best beef Ive had in ages...
Nappies, wipes, redbull, water and coke, the basics!! thats were the rest seems to disapear to...but I guess those things do last the week..
We have a lot of bedrooms so if the sh*t hits the fan will have to split the house and rent the rooms, but thats a last resort... hoping it wont come to that.
Toniq, Topsy getting big, he must keep you busy, mine were allways running off to chase cats!!People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...

Mine has gone up but it's about £70 for the month now, 2 adults, 2 kids (1 in nappies) & a goldfish now. If I spent £70 in a week by DH would have a fit, we seriously don't earn enough to be spending that in a week!2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

I also spen a fiver on ice pops in there and that goes far between ds, oh and dog, you get about 50 lollies for that price, paul has 3 in a go xxxx
I also use my Luncheon vouchers from the P.........r......... survey company we cant mention ,in sainsburys and that knocks it down.
But im a good girl and have xmas all saved for and holiday sorted, so im on a clear straight now.....xxxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

It was £50 for the month a short while ago, I might spend £5-£10 during the week if needed but atm it's not very often. I bulk buy everything I can, don't have cheap stuff for everything but I do shop around as much as I can so it all keeps it down. I got some steak mince from the butchers, cos he was soon shutting I paid £3.50 for 8lb of mince, that has made loads of meals out of it - burgers, shepards pie, spag bol, you name it we made it. I don't have time to be cooking for ages so it's all quick stuff I do as well.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0
