  • London is ok if you are just off for the day shopping, or if you are on a theatre break, but being from rural Yorkshire I prefer it back home meself.

I agree, you can't beat Yorkshire.

  • I'm from Yorkshire too, maybe not quite rural but certainly a LOT quieter than down there.
The place we stayed said 'some rooms may have slight disturbance from trains at nearby station' or words to that effect - the Tube was going past every 2 minutes til gone midnight :( The kids cried themselves to sleep both nights, hardly what I'd call slight disturbance!
There was a lot more I didn't like also, I guess now owning a pair of Manolo's makes up for it a little.
2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,

  • They are but at £500 a pop I'm scared to wear them lol

The shop was very hard to find, to say it's the only one in the whole of the UK as well it was on a little street in the middle of nowhere.

  • I don't know, even my hubby seems to think I should sell them but I have always loved 'Sex & The City' & one of Carrie's favourites are her Manolo's - to be like her is amazing. If ever we were short of cash then I'd sell them but for now we are comfortable so I'll have to really think about it.

You'll have to build a case for them away from sunlight:D

I must admit I like nice comfortable shoes nowadays. I'm sure my 15 year old has a fetish for shoes. She has so many, but really likes the irregular ones from schuh.

  • Why do so many people - who've never posted before suddenly post on the I won board???

Are they just weirdo comping trolls who have not really won.

Why would newbies just post like that?

I'm always happy when members win but I don't give a flying funk about people who have never contributed to the boards before.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Am I just grumpy? (No need to answer that.....:p)
