The Compers Inn - Part 3

Hi, I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself rather than be a lurker (lurked two or three times with the intention of posting but there was quite a weighty debate going on so didn't like to interupt).

I started visiting the MSE forums a month or so ago in desperation to find money saving ways cos the bills are crippling me! I just happened across the comps forum. My Mum used to do postcard comps and was really successful until the postie made a comment about all the parcels, to which my mother stupidly said she didn't know what was turning up because they were all competition wins... and do you know, after that she didn't win again, or at least receive a prize.

Anyway back to me, I have dabbled on the competition forum a couple of times and have been grateful to find so many comps in one place. The comps ending list has been a great place to whet my appetite. It must take an age to compile those lists!

I am yet to win, I'm the kind who couldn't win a black eye in a fight, but I always remain hopeful.

Well that's it, I think. I will try and pop in daily.
